The brief

The NJ Housing Expo is a free, statewide virtual event that connects New Jersey residents with housing resources, homeownership opportunities and the professionals who can help: Realtors, lenders, attorneys, investors, housing counselors and community organizations. It runs as county-focused sessions covering all 21 New Jersey counties.

Donnell Williams, a client we have worked with for more than five years, asked us to build the event's home online. The site had to explain the Expo quickly, get people registered, bring in sponsors and answer questions, all before the event date.

What we built

A WordPress website built with Elementor, with custom graphics made in Photoshop, and the on-page SEO set up from the start.

A homepage that sells the event

The date and "free virtual event" come first, followed by a bold headline and one clear call to action. Below it, a long page tells the full story without losing the visitor:

Registration, sponsorship and contact

Free registration runs through RingCentral Events, embedded right in the register page so attendees never leave the site. Sponsors and general inquiries each have their own short form, built so the client's team can follow up with the sponsorship package straight away.

One visual thread

Green, yellow and navy brand colors and the New Jersey county map appear throughout: in the page headers, the sponsorship section and the footer collage, so every page clearly belongs to the same event.

Built with

WordPress, Elementor, Fluent Forms, RingCentral Events, and Photoshop for the graphics.
